Stacy White is a fifth-generation native of East Hillsborough County. He grew up in our community and graduated from East Bay High School. Stacy has always had a heart to help others and found his calling in pharmacy, attending the University of Florida to obtain his Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
He and his wife Barbie, who earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Florida, moved back to Eastern Hillsborough County after graduation and settled in Valrico. They are raising their three children there, and are active in their community – involved in their church, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, PTA, 4-H and FFA.
Stacy has served as the County Commissioner for District 4 since 2014. District 4 encompasses Balm, Brandon, Dover, Lithia, Plant City, Riverview, Sun City Center, Wimauma, Ruskin and Valrico. Prior to that, Stacy served as the District 4 member of the Hillsborough County School Board. He is passionate about preserving the quality of life for our communities, and representing the needs of Eastern and Southern Hillsborough County. Stacy has demonstrated his commitment by consistently listening to and advocating for those needs. From fighting for additional fire stations to protect public safety, to working hard at steering the county away from reckless growth management decisions, to fighting the removal of bus transportation putting children in harms way, to successfully obtaining funding for road projects and sidewalk expansions – Stacy has earned the reputation of being a dedicated public servant and fiscal conservative, and proven that he can get things done.
